Under the supervision of the President of RIAC, the nature of this role is focused on planning and implementing premium brand strategies based on loyal customer profiles.
Due to the limited and unique customer profile of our brands, this role will place priority in maximizing ROI. Quick to market and execution define this role by ensuring marketing assets are deployed in a timely manner.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement a premium brand strategy based on core target user profiles.
Grow website traffic and enable digital growth.
Develop and implement a loyal customer strategy to embrace long-term loyal customers. Online Community building.
Manage demand generation contents of regular bi-weekly and seasonal weekly email-blasts.
Develop and execute an online strategy for internal and external websites to increase Ricoh's Direct to Consumer initiatives.
Have familiarity and execution of hybrid or virtual events.
Manage new product launching plan with internal teams and/or outside agencies to optimize launch impact.
Build marketing action plan in the order of marketing priorities.
Understand and Utilize analytics to measure success of programs and make modifications or recommendations for future programs based performance analysis. Communicate insights to key decision makers to help shape the future of the business.
Understanding of Merchandising requirements for online and B&M retail.
Work closely with sales team for planning and managing the retail channel and dealers.
Work with agency partners to create and manage up-to-date marketing contents.
Manage Ambassador Program by communicating with contracted professional photographers, influencers, and alternative media. Manage sample products they retain and collaborate to create professional works that can be utilized for marketing activities.
Manage product sample loaning to professional photographers, media, influencers, and sales reps. or employees.
Control the marketing budget. Partner with Finance team to update payouts and accruals.
Travel as required (up to 20%) to meet with channel partners, attend trade shows and key dealer events. Occasional weekend responsibility.
Participate in online meetings with key customers, internal partners, and management from Japan headquarters.
Maintain pricing program on ERP on a monthly basis in collaboration with sales departments.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business related major
10 years direct experience, preferably in a consumer-electronics industry
Working knowledge of social media and Customer Demand Generation
Advanced knowledge of online retail selling and webstore operations
Demonstrated experience in development of digital marketing demand generation strategies
Thorough digital camera knowledge, preferred
Strong understanding of general web functions and standards, security principles, eCommerce, and multimedia content development
Skilled customer-facing messaging skills
Strong knowledge of the retail environment
Proven ability to lead and influence
Strategic thinker in combination with hands-on mentality and skills
Self-starter with strong self-management skills, ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
